Genetic Connection entices People to Smoke:

WASHINGTON (AP) - Scientists claim they have identified a genetic connection that entices people to consume more cigarettes and makes them believe that they can’t get rid of smoking and ultimately it be the cause of lung cancer.

The findings of three different teams of Scientists:

The findings of three different teams of scientists have formed a case strong enough to the genetic support in the direction of smoking and how genetics and cigarettes act together to be the reason of cancer.Their discoveries also provide some more suitable cures to say goodbye to smoking.

Christopher Amos, a professor of epidemiology at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and author of one of the studies, says, “This is kind of a double-whammy gene,” He further adds “It also makes you more likely to be dependent on smoking and less likely to quit smoking.” (more…)
