Blood donation is a philanthropic work. Today, millions of the people have been suffering from various and different bleeding disorders. These are mainly the Von Willbrand Disease (VWD) and Hemophilia. Moreover, gums, nose disorder, menstrual periods, bruising disorder, small cuts, surgery and dental disorders could cause chronic bleeding and wounds. Therefore, there would be an indeed need of blood.
Role of agencies
There are many agencies which are performing the humanitarian works of blood donation. They are collecting a bulk amount of blood from the various people such as teenagers and old aging. These are the non profit organizations such as Red Cross, WHO, United Nation, Save the Children and World Bank etc.
Blood donation causing various diseases
Meanwhile, a study has been conducted in the United States that the adolescents are more likely to incline in the activities of blood donation. Due to blood donation, they have been diagnosed into various disorders like faintness, and paleness. The doctors are of the view that these symptoms are occurring among adults rather than the older people.
