NEW YORK -Skype will introduce its plan for unlimited calls to overseas phones on Monday.
Unlimited calls to land-line phones
This plan will offer unlimited calls to land-line phones for $9.95 per month in almost 34 countries; it was stated by Don Albert, vice president and general manager for Skype North America.
The included countries will cover most part of Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, China, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Malaysia.
Cell phones
In this plan calls to domestic land lines and cell phones have been included as calls to cell phones in Canada, China, Hong Kong and Singapore but not included cell phones calls in other countries.
Discount
Skype is increasing it’s offering just with another plan, for $5.95 per month, otherwise; it has been already offering unlimited calls to the U.S. and Canada for $3 per month.The plan offers free calls to Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey and also offers discount to other places in Mexico.
Skype is used as a software application running on a computer operational with speakers or a headset and a microphone.Now there is another option for the subscriber to call at local number from their phones and remain connected to international numbers that included in the plan.
Cost
Plans for unlimited international calling have been quite trendy during the recent years from cable companies and some hardware-based phone services like Vonage International Holdings Corp.The offered prices by these companies are high and these new plans are just addition to already existing plans and they will cost even higher.
