Recently Apple launched its slimmer, faster and lighter, 2nd generation iPad2 while retaining the virtues of the older iPad.
Apple is not the only player who creates tablet PC, now they are getting competition from other players like Samsung with Galaxy Tab. The Apple iPad2 launch news caught its closest market rivals off-guard, as Apple has made lot of changes in iPad2 which make it much better than before.
Samsung recently introduced Galaxy Tab 10.1 with a 10.1 inch display which can be the biggest competitors for Apple iPad2. The two key factors that have set the competition between theses two top contenders for the top position are iPad’s slimmer and lighter form factor and price. Reportedly, Samsung vice president Lee Don-joo told to a news agency, “We will have to improve the parts that are inadequate, Apple made it very thin.”
Apple runs on its own OS platform iOS 4.3, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will use Google Android 3.0/Honeycomb which is a tablet optimized operating system. Both the tablets run on a Dual core 1 GHz processor.
