Get the Most Out of Adsense – Wordpress Plugins
If you are using Adsense on your Wordpress blog without any plugins, life has to be quite hard for you – inserting Adsense code manually into your posts, messed up code due to the editor and no functions to assist you in improving your revenue. Well, I have news – life has just become easier for you because you are going to be introduced to a whole set of Wordpress plugins to enhance your experience with Adsense.
1- Adsense Deluxe – The King of All Adsense Plugins
This is the most popular and useful plugin for Adsense in wordpress. It offers a huge variety of advanced functions to help you manage Adsense in your blog. You won’t have to manually insert the Adsense code into your posts anymore. With just one line that looks like this: <!–adsense#postadblock–>, your money-generating ad block will be placed into the post for you automatically.
This plugin also allows you to make global changes to your Adsense code, so if at any time you switch templates and require a color change, this will come in handy.
Another great feature of this plugin is the ability to preview the ads that will appear on your page using a sandbox tool they have. You will be able to start banning irrelevant ads even before any visitors see it to maximise its effectiveness.
If you only found out about the existence of Adsense after your blog had already been set up for a year, your old posts would not have any revenue-generating ad blocks. This useful plugin is able to go through all your posts and randomly insert Adsense codes between line breaks and paragraphs.
Another great use for this plugin is to run it every few days to change the position of the ad blocks and prevent any banner blindness. This should get you a higher click-through rate and generate more revenue.
This plugin rotates advertisements randomly at a certain location.
This article should be talking about Adsense but I cannot help but say that sometimes, you’ll need to switch around to something else. Promote an affiliate product once in awhile, or join Chitika Eminimalls and use their services. This is great to combat the effects of banner blindness, especially on sidebars where the ads are static and never change positions. You can also use this to test different ad combinations to see which works better.
4- Adsense Earnings Wordpress Plugin
This plugin is especially useful if you are too lazy to log into your Adsense account everytime you want to check your earnings. It will show you your daily earnings, check your earnings for a specific period and even show the public how much you’ve made! If you have good content but no one clicks on your ads, it may be good to show it and maybe, just maybe, they will sympathize with you and help you earn some money.
5- Adsense Sharing Revenue and Earnings System
This plugin will allow you to share revenue with other authors that write for you blog. Without this plugin, it is hardly possible, if not impossible, to tell how many clicks got through from certain article pages and it’s hard to award fair amounts to better writers that deserve more than they are getting. This will solve all those problems and your authors will be more motivated to write better articles. This is one of the best plugins out there in my opinion and if you’re the sole author of your own blog, I’d suggest using this as an incentive to get people to write for you.
I hope you found this useful and get more ideas buzzing in your head on how you will be able to use these plugins to enhance your Adsense experience and hopefully, earnings.
