SAN FRANCISCO – Denying the threat of a troublesome buyout battle that could hit its unstable stock, Internet pioneer Yahoo Inc. restated its refusal, to sell to Microsoft Corp. for less than $45 billion, on Monday.
Yahoo’s boldness was quite obvious in a letter to Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer, marked the latest twist in a struggle pitting two high-tech icons trying to create a more difficult confront to online search and advertising leader Google Inc.
The edgy struggle now appears to have reached a turning point after more than two months of generally behind-the-scenes manipulation.Ballmer heated up the issue on the weekend by setting April 26 a deadline for Yahoo to accept Microsoft’s offer.

New York -Gasoline and oil prices increased quickly on Wednesday shortly after the Energy department’s report on a surprising increase in gasoline demand and a huge fall in supplies.Prices again returned to record levels at pump.
The Energy Information Administration stated in its weekly inventory report that there was a shortage of 4.5 million barrels in gasoline supplies during the last week and it was double from the forecast of the survey of Dow Jones Newswires analysts.The data, collected by EIA, indicates 1 percent increase in demand of gas if compared to the same week last year.
Low gasoline supplies and high demand show that supplies are lessening as summer season drawing near.According to Tom Kloza the publisher and chief oil analyst at the Oil Price Information Service in Wall, N.J “There’s just an incredible seasonal tug for gasoline to move higher in April,” he further adds “We’ll see another record-breaking retail price (soon).”
Mini-Black Hole Is Smallest Ever But Still Strong

WASHINGTON – NASA scientists have discovered a black hole, the smallest ever found that weighs approximately four times the mass of our sun and it is 15 miles in diameter.
“This black hole is actually pushing the limits,” said Nikolai Shaposhnikov, the study team leader of NASA. “Scientists were working hard for many years to find out the smallest possible size of a black hole, and this invention is a big step towards answering that question,” he said in a statement.
Though it is smaller, it seems to be stronger than other larger black holes found at the centers of galaxies. If anyone goes nearer to J1650 (the name given to the black hole), its gravity would stretch your body into a “strand of spaghetti,” said Shaposhnikov.
